To understand Viking Hockey you have to know a little about Viking Cricket.
Viking Cricket was born from a lifelong connection to the game. As former players, coaches, and parents, we experienced first-hand the frustration of inconsistent quality in modern cricket equipment — bats that looked the part but failed to deliver where it mattered most: performance, durability, and feel.
We knew there had to be a better way.
So we decided to do it ourselves.
Our mission was simple from day one: create cricket equipment we would be proud to use ourselves — uncompromising in quality, honest in craftsmanship, and trusted by players who take their game seriously.
We are a blank canvas with Hockey but have the same passion to do the same with Viking Hockey, we are a young, dynamic and performance driven brand.

Every Viking bat and Hockey stick begins its journey after being carefully selected from the finest suppliers in the world, willow suppliers or stick manufacturers we only work with the best. We have chosen our range carefully and tested our sticks and equipment to make sure we are 100% happy with what we put our name on. Every Viking product is made with you in mind, individually finished, and personally checked before it reaches you. If it’s not good enough for us to use, it’s not good enough to leave our workshop.

That’s why our range of sticks and equipment is sourced from manufacturers who meet our high quality expectations. We would never pair a premium stick with sub-standard gear — and neither should you.
We supply equipment for both adult and junior players, from grassroots hockey to professionals, because ambition exists at every level of the game.
We have been supplying our Valkyrie range especially for female cricketers for 8 years and its been used on the world stage in, test matches, the big bash, the hundred and more, by some of the finest players, including Jenny Gunn MBE, Hollie Armitage, Emma Lamb, and many more we intend to do the same with hockey, get ready the vikings are coming.
